Over the years, blogs and web 2.0 is becoming a key component to successful of many companys, especially in the Travel and Tourism industry.
Recently, many attractions and travel agency in Hong Kong were started to invest many resources to initiate a offical website, in order to introduce and promo their products or services to Netizens through their website. From a marketing perspective, it’s being part of market and having visibility of conversations relating to the company's brand or products. I think this is an effective and extensive channel to let everybody know more about their company. For example, I have visited the Ngong Ping 360 Limited offical website again recently, they have developed their webpage become more functional and convenient for guests to visit. People can get many informations such as pricing, opening hours, promotions, online booking, events and all the things about the Ngong Ping cable car by visitng their offical website. Besides, in my point of view, I think the most innovative things are they have been providing a live webcast of cable car condition to guests and they have created a mobile apps for smartphone or iphone holder. The live webcast of cable car condition can let the guest consider that they whether want to go or not when bad weather. For the mobile apps, people can get many information about the Ngong Png cble car by just simply download the application in their smartphone or iPhone and they can visit the website in everytime and everywhere. The innovative marketing planning can help the company make more revenues and opportunty.
For the feeling of usng this blogging tool for this assignment, may be this is my first time to using blogger, I feel that it's not easy to use or create a blog archive. For example, I can't resize the photos to fit the size for interface of this blogger. Besides, I suggest that bloggers can cooperate with Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel, Access, etc...to let the blogging become more functional.
